Our Story
June 2018. I met Marisa in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I hadn’t seen her before our mutual friend suggested we meet. I knew nothing other than a badass hollywood lawyer was coming home from LA and was happy to chat with a curious South African.
I saw a beautiful face waving from the end of the bar. Beautiful brown eyes and brown hair too. I thought she was fascinating. She liked my accent. We had our first date at a live music show a few days later.
We’ve seen amazing sights together and mastered the art of watching movies while 7800 miles apart. I would later learn that Marisa almost exclusively watches scary movies. So yeah, I'm very excited to share my life with this incredible person.
